Northbound 35W I at Country Road E2, ARDEN HILLS, Ramsey County
A single engine Bellanca Viking plane made a suspected emergency landing on a Twin Cities freeway this evening.
Just before 9:30 this evening, State Troopers responded to reports of a plane that made an unexpected landing northbound I-35W near I-694 in the city of Arden Hills.
As the plane landed, it crashed into another vehicle that was on I-35W. There were no injuries as a result of this crash. The highway is currently shut down at exit E2 for an extended period of time as Troopers continue to investigate this incident.
