All three vehicles were going Southbound on Highway 61 and were in a DOT work zone. The Mercury Sable was stopped for the flagger and as the Dodge Durango slowed down behind the Sable it was rear ended by the Dodge Caravan. This caused the Durango to rollover against the embankment, and the Dodge Caravan came to rest against the Mercury Sable.
A 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by MILENE, Mildred (of Winona) was eastbound on Highway 14 (on the Stockton Hill) when it lost control while going around a curve, the Toyota spun across all lanes then rolled into the north ditch. As the roadway warmed frosty conditions / refreeze occurred on the curves. Milene was wearing her seat belt which is credited for preventing her from experiencing more serious injuries.
Driver Woitalla was driving the F-150 eastbound Hwy 27 and approached stopped traffic. As she approached, her foot slipped off the brake pedal. The F-150 struck the Trailblazer that was stopped in traffic, which then struck the Sephia that was also stopped in traffic ahead of the Trailblazer. Meldaus, the driver of the Sephia, was transported to the hospital for neck and back pain.
A Ford pickup was northbound on Highway 52 when it began to slow for traffic ahead and was rear-ended by a Chevy Spark. The Chevy struck the pickup and rolled onto its top, blocking traffic.
Driver was transported to local hospital with believed non-life-threatening injuries.
A Toyota RAV4 was traveling southbound on Highway 23. Driver slowed to a stop, waiting for oncoming traffic to clear before turning south on County Road 1. A GMC Envoy was also southbound on Highway 23 and the driver did not see the Toyota stopped, resulting in a rear-end crash.
Driver of the Toyota was transported to local hospital with believed non-life-threatening injuries.
Chevy Malibu was North bound on Hwy 76. Toyota Camry was traveling South bound on Hwy 76. Chevy Malibu collided with a deer causing the driver to lose control and go sideways into the South bound lane of Hwy 76 & collide with the Toyota Camry.
The Nissan Rogue was travelling southbound on Joplin St NW. The Chevrolet Cruze was travelling eastbound on highway 10. The Nissan Rogue ran the red light and both vehicles collided in the intersection.
The Chevy Silverado was Eastbound on Hwy 23 in the outside lane due to a semi that crossed over from the exit ramp who's trailer was sticking out into the inside lane. As the Chevy Silverado approached the off ramp exit, the Buick Lesabre pulled out in front of it and the vehicles collided.
Semi Truck and Trailer traveling eastbound on 97 when the driver fell asleep. The semi went into the South ditch and hit a driveway embankment causing the semi to rollover and entire contents of trailer to spill onto the roadway. The Eastbound lanes of 97 Hwy were blocked by debris due to the spill.
