The Olds Cutlass was northbound Hwy 55 and went off the road north of the city of Barrett. The under brush and dry grasses under the vehicle caught fire and the vehicle burned. The driver did not escape the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.
The Mercury Milan was travelling northbound on Hwy 13. The Buick LeSabre was travelling southbound on Hwy 13 turning east onto Co Rd 28. The Buick LeSabre turned in front of the Mercury Milan making contact with the passenger side door.
Pontiac was NB on Hwy 13. Chevrolet was also NB behind Pontiac. Pontiac was attempting to turn left onto CR 28 and was rear ended by Chevrolet. Chevrolet then collided with Freightliner who was at the stop sign on CR 28. Montgomery Fire and North Memorial assisted on scene.
The Ford passenger car was traveling eastbound on interstate 90 when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed through the median, across the westbound lanes and came to a rest in the westbound ditch. Gold Cross assisted on scene.
The Toyota Tacoma was stopped at stop sign to make a left turn to NB Hwy 22. There was a semi in the right turn lane SB Hwy 22 to Riverfront. The Toyota Corolla was SB on MN Hwy 22. The Tacoma slowly entered Hwy 22 The Toyotas collided, semi was not struck. Assisted by Kasota Fire, Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office, and Gold Cross Ambulance.
The semi was exiting from southbound 35 to eastbound 14 when the driver lost control causing the semi to roll. Steele County Sheriff's Office, Gold Cross Ambulance and Owatonna Fire and Owatonna Police department assisted on scene.
The Honda Civic driven by Russell, was northbound on Hwy 61 when it was struck broadside on the passengers side by the Ford F150 that was driven by Schoen. The Ford then rolled, ending up on it's side. Both parties were transported to Regions by ambulance.
A Jeep Commander was traveling south on Spruce Ave at Hwy 55. A Ford Pickup was traveling east on Hwy 55 approaching Spruce Ave. The Jeep stopped at the stop sign then continued to cross Hwy 55 and pulled out in front of the Ford. The vehicles collided and the Jeep rolled onto it's side.
The Ford Flex driven by Scott Lukken was northbound on Highway 71 when it crossed over the center line of traffic and crashed into the west ditch. Scott was transported by Bemidji EMS to Sanford Bemidji with a possible head injury. Alcohol is suspected to have been a factor.
The Cheeseman Coach Bus was traveling East on Interstate 94, West of Highway 241 when it left the road and drove into the ditch, it struck trees, signs and the freeway fence for approximately 300 yards. The coach bus then drove over the East Bound lanes and crashed into the median cable. The driver and five occupants were transported to Centra Care in Monticello with non-life threatening injuries.
The Hyundai was traveling Eastbound on 23 East of County Road 123 when the vehicle went off road on the right shoulder. The driver was transported to St. Cloud Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The Lincoln Town Car, driven by Smith, was traveling west on Highway 2, near the intersection of USTH 2 and Pike Bay Loop NW, in the wrong lane of traffic/shoulder area. The driver then corrected the vehicle back onto the highway and collided head-on with an eastbound Semi driven by Black The driver of the Town Car was in critical condition and was transported via North Air Ambulance to St Mary's Hospital in Duluth. The passenger of the Town Car, Grotberg was also in critical condition and was transported via Sanford Med Air to Sanford Medical in Fargo. Black, the driver of the Semi was evaluated on scene.
