A Kia Sportage was driving southbound on highway 169 near Central Ave, just north of Milaca. A Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling northbound on 169 at the same location slowing to go westbound on Central Ave. The Sportage and Caravan collided coming to a rest in the southwest ditch.
At approximately 03:50 am, a Chrysler 300 was traveling northbound on USTH 169 in Champlin when it left the roadway and collided with a light pole at the intersection of USTH 169 and West River Rd. Officer and EMS arrived on-scene and found the driver unresponsive. Life-saving measures were attempted, but the driver was declared deceased on-scene. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and it is unknown at this time whether alcohol may have been involved.
A Mercury Mountaineer was driving eastbound on highway 27 near 325th Ave. The Mountaineer left the roadway to the south , rolled, and came to a rest on it's wheels.
A Chevrolet Tahoe was fleeing the Pennington County Sheriff's Office on northbound State Highway 32 when it collided with a Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling southbound.
