| Description |
The Emergency Management Performance Grant Program (EMPG) provides funding to Minnesota Counties and Cities of the First Class, to maintain local emergency management programs. Grantees will receive a allocated award that is based on the funding awarded to the state of Minnesota and the HSEM formula.
Funds provided through the 2020 EMPG program provide critical assistance to sustain and enhance local emergency management capabilities by supporting personnel, planning, equipment, training and exercises. All initiatives in the EMPG program should align with at least one of the 15 emergency management functions in EMAP. |
