| Introduction: |
Workshop participants will learn:
- How vulnerable preschool children are to fire and burn injuries
- About the frequency of children's misuse of fire, their distorted preception
and limited capacity to understand the potential danger of fire
- Effective, developmentally appropriate methods of teaching fire
prevention to preschool children
- How to motivate children and families to behave safely using the principles
of the Health Belief Model of Behavior Change
